I myself work in the automotive field and I know how hard it is to gain peoples trust when it comes to dealing with their car services. With that said, I have never known anyone that is so genuine and good hearted as Daniel Costa. That is why I take my personal car to his shop cause I know he will take great care of me.

It is not that often that you have a great experience at an automotive shop, however the folks over at Marin Automotive are true professionals at their craft. Ben who was the one worked on my car is by far the best mechanic I have ever met. Not only will he tell you what you need in order to prevent wear and tear on your car, more importantly he will tell you what you don't need. Always saving you money and giving you the best service in Marin. Daniel runs a top notch shop with great staff and will take care of you. Take my word for it, you be glad you did.

What a great experience! I needed a smog check fast, and Daniel and his team accommodated my tight schedule, and did the whole thing in a completely friendly and professional way.

They are great. Daniel explained everything clearly. He worked within my budget. Saved me from public transportation once again.

Took the truck in because it's been awhile and I figured the brakes needed to be done. Also wanted the oil changed. Daniel's guys checked the brakes and said I still had about 4000 miles on them. A less honest mech would have just wanted the money. Marin auto has a new customer for life, and you can bet I'll be there when the brakes are due. Good price for the oil change to boot.

We moved to the area about two years ago and could not be happier to find a local mechanic like Daniel Costa of Marin Automotive. He is a gifted mechanic and much more than that. He takes care of his customers and goes the extra mile. My car had a systemic radiator failure up in the hills of Northen California and I ended up back in Healdsburg at a random shop. Guys there were ok but could not solve my problem and were about to start a costly water pump replacement on my 92 Pathfinder. I was beyond stuck. I reached out to Daniel who has worked on the car before and even warned me about the radiator getting old and to watch it...and he arranged for a free tow over 50 miles and was able to fix my problem..which was not the water pump after all, saving me so much money and hassle. Besides that, my car runs AWESOME since he laid hands on it and has been taking care of it. He never does things that are unnecessary and even tells me ahead of time to watch this or next time we can do that..he is honest and fair. He is very professional and a pleasure to get to know. I can not recommend him enough

I have been a customer of Daniel's for the last seven years. He is by far the best and most honest mechanic I have dealt with. He is highly knowledgeable and professional, and always does a wonderful job. I had an ongoing (several years, kept recurring) issue with my car that three other mechanics charged me for yet could not fix correctly....well, Daniel not only knew exactly how to do the intricate (electrical system issues) repairs, he did it faster and charged me less!
