I had my first experience with Marin Automotive, and I couldn't be more impressed. I brought in my 2000 Mercedes wagon to have the A/C repaired, and from start to finish, the experience exceeded every expectation. Scheduling an appointment was incredibly easy, and their communication throughout the process was outstanding. I always knew what was happening with my car, and the team was responsive, professional, and genuinely friendly. The shop itself is spotless and exceptionally well organized, which immediately gave me confidence that my car was in great hands. Every employee I interacted with was courteous, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. It's rare these days to find a business that excels in every aspect of the customer experience, but Marin Automotive truly does. I was blown away by their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to making the entire process seamless. They've earned a customer for life, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, top-notch automotive service shop.

We've been bringing our cars to Daniel for over 15 years, and he has never let us down. Our 23-year-old Chrysler Sebring convertible means the world to us. Because of its age, his knowledge, persistence, and professionalism are highly appreciated. Everyone on the team is courteous, honest, and genuinely cares about their customers. It's rare to find a shop that combines outstanding technical skill with such exceptional customer service. Highly recommended.

The team got me in urgently on a Friday afternoon and resolved problem quickly by end of day Monday!! My engine was overheating and they found a crack in the oil filter pipe (?). Anyway - regular updates and very good customer service - thank you! Highly recommend.

Hi Maggie, thank you so much for taking the time to share this! We're so glad we could get you in quickly on a Friday and have you back on the road by Monday, especially with an issue like an overheating engine, that's not something we want anyone driving around with for long. Our team takes a lot of pride in communicating clearly along the way, so it means a lot to hear that came through. Thanks for trusting us with your car and for the kind words , we really appreciate you! Team Marin Automotive

I give 5 stars with enthusiasm and gratitude. Last Friday I broke down with a busted radiator and had to be towed about 15 miles to Coos Bay. I was on my way to play golf for the weekend at Bandon Resort, and we had a tee time at around noon at one of the courses there. When I called to see if they might be able to work on my car on short notice, they said that there was a good chance that parts might be available for my 2001 Subaru and that they might be able to get it fixed that afternoon. They got the job done for a reasonable cost and I was able to pick up my car on Friday evening after my round. Fantastic service and very friendly helpful people!

A $257 per hour labor rate on a 1.5 hour repair comes to a total of $613 on labor alone for a window regulator replacement. No receipt itemization on the labor, just a sub total. The explanation is an “inspection fee” which is a clever way to get $613 out of a 1.5 hour job. When my wife drops off her minivan for a repair, it is a bummer to have a lack of transparency on the receipt and to have to ask questions about the math. The convenient location no longer justifies the exorbitant prices. We won’t be back.
